The following outlines our commitment to helping our customers and employees to stay safe.

Both our client and employees have and are experiencing difficult and changing times to this end CLD has implemented a full review of our risk assessments that may have an impact on our services which include:

  • Equipment, Machinery, vending machines, service, and supply
  • Chemicals, consumables and disposable items
  • Sourcing of cleaning products to comply with BS EN standards with suitable viricidal properties
  • Ensuring that hand washing, and the use of hand gel is carried out regularly
  • Provision of suitable and adequate PPE for all employees at work
  • Implementing of social distancing at work including team working, Lone working and break/working times to reduce contact and keep to 2mtrs where practicably possible or 1.5 mtrs for as shorter time as possible with adequate controls in place
  • Assist in the re-opening and sanitsation of buildings or specific areas
  • Adapt specification to the footfall of the building with the client where required
  • Re-route and plan cleaning regimes including one-way systems as necessary
  • Increase cleaning frequencies as agreed with the client to high risk touch areas as required
  • Arrange for shift patterns and break time to address social distance in carrying out tasks
  • Train all our employees in the safe working procedures to cover working in Covid-19 conditions
  • Update all our employees with all Government guidelines and advice
  • Liase with our clients to agree the most effective way to continue or resume our services and comply with Government guidelines

CLD will continue to adapt to the ever-changing situation. Liase with our employees and clients to assess the risks and implement any controls required to stay safe.
