Security
The trust worthiness of our staff, who are often required to hold keys to our clients premises, is paramount to us. Therefore all prospective CLD employees are subjected to a stringent selection process. This includes supplying references, a current P45 or the filling in a P46, supplying their bank or building society account details, (as no staff are paid by cash) and thier national insurance card and passport for copying. This helps to ensure the validity of all applicants. There is also a requirement to provide a passport photograph, one of which is sealed into a security pass and must be carried at all times and the second photograph is attached to the employee’s record file and held at our head office. As part of our payroll structure attendance/contact books are kept on each site and staff are required to sign in and out on each visit.
All staff are also provided with a company uniform consisting of a tabard for the female staff and a blue jacket or sweat shirt for the men, plus suitable Personal Protective Clothing as required. All items bear the companies divisional logo’s and are required dress code, however when required our staff can conform to our clients uniform livery.
